As announced before, the GRIPS Development Forum Seminar on “Germany-Japan Partnership for “Quality Growth” –Sharing Experiences of Industrial Development Cooperation in Partnership with Private Sector” was successfully held on 1 March 2016. Conclusion of an MOU for cooperation in the field of industrial HRD with the Rajasthan Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO)
 On 6 April 2014, HIDA concluded an MOU in the field of industrial HRD with RIICO (India). On the same day, the Memorandum of Cooperation in industrial cooperation was concluded between Mr. Miyazawa, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan, and Ms. Vasundhara Raje, Chief Minister, Government of Rajasthan. The MOU signing was arranged to coincide with the ministerial event. Ms. Veene Gupta (RIICO Chairperson) and Mr. Kaneko (HIDA President) jointly signed the MOU at the ceremony, which was graciously attended by the Chief Minister and Indian dignitaries.

   As a way to promote business-to-business interactions between Japan and the emerging countries, the HRI has launched a business project “Facilitating Business Missions to Japan.” We invite companies from overseas and help them to participate in fairs and exhibits for various fields, in Japan. Report of the results of the 9th World Convention of HIDA/AOTS Alumni Societies and the Success Story Contest
     The HIDA/ AOTS Alumni Societies that have been voluntarily founded by former HIDA trainees in 71 regions of 43 countries have been convening the World Convention of HIDA/AOTS Alumni Societies on a regular basis. The 9th World Convention has been held on 29 and 30 October 2014 in Tokyo. As part of this Convention, HIDA hosted a Success Story Contest, where 10 presenters were selected from 281 applicants from 48 countries, and invited to present their successful activities after returning to their respective countries after HIDA training. HIDA Network spanning across the world

The Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association has established “Alumni Network” in 71 regions in 43 countries through training program for over 50 years.

The total number of persons who have participated in HIDA training program from over 190 countries and regions is approximately 380,000. “Alumni” is the NGO that is voluntarily organized overseas by trainees who finished their training in Japan and went back to their countries. This NGO is a network of human resources in industry including top managers and executive managers.
